Today I’m headed back home, after visiting the folks for Thanksgiving…

I have appointments and errands this week. As much as I love spending time with my family, there’s also a sense of relief once I’m back in my own little sanctuary, especially sleeping in my own bed.

My youngest sister told me that after my visits, when I’ve left, our mother goes to her room and cries. Why did she have to tell me this ? I wish I didn’t know. 😞

I think it’s hard as they come to know their time is limited, especially with the health struggles. It’s hard for us to think about that too, but we have to go back to our own lives and the space we’ve carved out. This is part of love. I try to think of it that way. It’s as hard as it is wonderful. And sometimes sisters say things that don’t need to be said. 😑🤗🤗
