Have you ever been, or had experiences with, or run-in's with, a sports tiger parent?
Never heard of the term until just today, but it's out there in plain sight if you are a parent embedded in pushing your kids (or seeing others push their kids) to live a life of sport sport sport.
My ex has a slight bit of that in making my 8 y/o daughter do swimming training ever since she was a baby. Now she is at the 'squad' level which is the highest she can get to without transitioning into professional sport.
I've heard of 'helicopter parenting' so that's probably very similar.
