WHEN CHOOSING YOURSELF OFFEND OTHERS!
🌹Thank you to every woman who reached out with kind words after my last post, your encouragement truly means more than you know.
One thing I’m learning is this is that the moment you choose to change, some people will see you as the problem.
When you stop being constantly available, stop meeting everyone’s demands, and start putting yourself first, discomfort follows.
Boundaries suddenly look like selfishness.
Self-care gets labelled as neglect.
And even our children can make us feel guilty for no longer pouring from an empty cup.
But I know my truth.
As a wife and mother, I gave my all. I don’t regret the love, the presence, or the sacrifices I made.
What I do regret is losing myself in the process and allowing myself to be taken advantage of.
So now, I choose me.
Not out of bitterness, but out of wisdom.
Not because I love others less, but because I finally love myself enough.
If choosing yourself feels uncomfortable, just keep going.🌹
