Some advice on how to fill social security form for autistic child

Hello everyone so i finally got the appointment for my son and thank god because i need it so bad

i dont recieve child support so this will help me take care of my son, my poor boy has barely any clothes,

only one coat , and a pair of sneakers that barely fit. he loves his crocs anyways his stuff is getting old.

I got some form and they want me to include his autism diagnosis and my boy stims not so much but

he has a hard time understanding me , he is non verbal.. i would say hes okay but he needs therapy,

i had an incident at his old daycare where he was screaming and the daycare owner said they put

something on the tv to scare him and she switched this so i involved acs because the workers were lying

and didnt want to show me the video . i immediately quit my job and iv been stuck home ever since figuring this out

so if anyone has any advice to help me with this process .. please and thank you

When my daughter started receiving it, they needed access to doctor/ specialist and school records that were directly associated with her Autism. She is an adult now, still nonverbal. They actually walk you through it during meetings whether in person or voice calls. Main thing is signing the release forms

@Bexsy @Bexsy thank you so much for this
@moonpeace81 you're very welcome

Sorry! I filled it out each year for ten years, and even after the autistic child was permanently excluded and determined exempt from public education there was no social security for us. Nothing. Not even food benefits.
I do not know how people become "disabled" or get benefits.

I just did this very thing about a month ago. I made an appointment with social security and they did everything, but of course there was a hiccup and im working on it through the mail, one step at a time.

you need a counselor or lawyer to help it sounds like...someone familiar with the system
His doctor can probably help you get the papers you need.
