My mum's method is yelling "dinner is ready" so we can gather and start helping because it's not ready

@HannibalAteMeOut no I've tried that and they have worked it out or they just make an excuse like "I need to go to the loo"

@BabyLonia true we're sneaky like that

@HannibalAteMeOut I did exactly the same thing the other day unintentionally. 😂 Mom was like...wtf? Error 404: Lunch not found (on the table)

One day you'll be invited to theirs and they'll cook for you.

I like how my aunt treats her boys. If they don't help, she always eats their shares of meat from top of the couscous and only leaves the couscous.

And that day, the sky will open wide and the gods shall sing thy name! Lo inOtterWords mother of earth!! You’ve done well, you’ve done well indeed! 😂

Yes, it happens eventually, and it certainly is nice to have help. They can also yell at the grandchildren to come to dinner.

Half the time I can’t even get my family to the table to join me after I’ve been cooking.

If they complain no cat petting for the rest of the evening. 😤

@Classified but why punish the puddy cats?
Classified · M
@BabyLonia No no, you get extra time with the cats. 😌

Just remember, it's against the law to lock them in a closet 😂
