Olivia’s Safe Place 🩷
This is my first post here, and who better to dedicate it to than my sweet four-year-old daughter.
Tonight, I tucked the girls into bed like always. Then, an hour or so later, my four-year-old quietly crawled out of her bed and into ours. No tears, no words just instinct.
I love that our bed is her safe space. That in the middle of the night, half asleep, she knows exactly where to go when she wants comfort. One day she won’t need this anymore, but tonight she did and I’ll never take that for granted.
Being her soft place to land is one of my greatest honors. 💕
