If he is acting nervous around her, he is doing something to her..
I read the comments, what do you mean by lump? Where is the lump?

Without knowing anything about you or him, or what kind of relationship you had and how it ended, I have to ask myself from where he should have any confidence in how to be together with the daughter of both of you from being together with her for one hour a week.
It would be better for your daughter to have both a mother and a father as long as both of you contribute positively to her upbringing. It's a partnership raising kids, even if the mother and father no longer are a couple.
Again, I'm not sure what the exact red flags are and whether there's a real risk for the safety of your daughter.

I found this list, if you're in the UK as I believe you are:
Key Resources for Legal Help
Citizens Advice: Offers free, confidential advice and can direct you to local services or legal aid options.
Women's Aid: Provides support for domestic abuse survivors, including links to local services and potential legal advice/funding assistance.
Gingerbread: Focuses on single parent legal issues, offering advice on family and child law.
Law Centres Network: Provides face-to-face legal advice in various locations, often free or low-cost.
Law Society's Find a Solicitor: Use this tool to find solicitors specializing in Family Law or Children Law (with accreditation) in your area.
Child Law Advice: Offers free specialist advice on child and family law.
Advocate (Bar Pro Bono Unit): Can provide free representation from volunteer barristers for court cases.

This doesn't explain much. How do I give advice about this? Why do you see him as a danger? What did he do?
