Birthday weekend

Our girl is 15!

Tomorrow we are having a barbeque in the garden and a camp out for her cousins and friends.

Not entirely sure what she anticipates, but we are informed that this is a girls only event . . the males in our family are greatly relieved 😅

This afternoon she is going to the cinema and for ice cream/milkshake afterwards with her "friend who is a boy but definitely not her boyfriend" 🤗 When I saw him just now he looked mighty relieved also that he had escaped so lightly 🤣

Did you have to splash out for a brand new phone or the like or is she at the "I don't need stuff" phase? And do you have the extra towels on hand as you usually mention antics that need them unexpectedly. 😁

@ineedadrink She is always very undemanding. Gymnastics camp last week was her main present (she also paid for part of it through her weekly chores). I also went a bit mad online with a "fun" rainbow theme. I think the duvet cover and party things are acceptable . . the leotard possibly less so 😅🌈

The weather is beautiful, if a little chilly, so unlimited fun can be had in the garden with no need for any camper to come indoors! 👍
