My daughter burst through the door after school

Went straight to her room and emerged shortly afterwards in her swimsuit and sunglasses 😎 As she presented me with her school uniform for laundering she explained optimistically that she was going into the garden to "catch some rays" 🌞 I watched with some amusement from the window as she pluckily followed a small rectangle of sunlight progressing across the lawn. Twenty minutes later she was back indoors, teeth visibly chattering and feet like blocks of ice 🥶 I dearly wish she would put some clothes on or warm up in a bath before she turns hypothermic. But Mama Bear senses Baby Bear is in a contrarian mood this afternoon and knows that it is best to stay mum for the moment 🐻🤫
