End of the weekend

When I picked up my daughter from her camp out/sleepover, I noticed she was more than usually grubby for a Sunday afternoon (having apparently not washed since Friday morning). On the drive back I gently suggested she might want to take a bath and wash her hair before school tomorrow. As she considers bathing to be a breach of her human rights, this went down like the proverbial lead balloon. We eventually compromised with a promise to read her book together, so I just have spent the past 40 mins sitting on the toilet seat brushing up my knowledge of teenage vampires 😅

Now that she has remembered that baths are not so dreadful after all, she has summoned my wife in for 'girls' talk' and a debrief from the weekend. As I am definitely not part of the cool crowd I have been banished to the laundry room to iron her school uniform. I know my place in this family 😊

Is this like a diary of some sort for the public or something?
Or do you just want to let us know about your internal family affairs so that we can evaluate and give you a feedback?

@DarkXtecy You seem to be missing the whole point of a website like this.

@ineedadrink no, not really. I know the purpose of websites like this. And there is nothing wrong with my enquiry also.

@DarkXtecy It's a medium of communication, to share personal experiences. Sometimes they may touch a chord with another person and this could spark a conversation on a topic of common interest. How you respond is entirely up to you.

@SunshineGirl i see so its the latter part of my question.
