My daughter moved away today

She left today to move to Australia. We’ve spent the past month helping her purge and pack. It’s been exhausting. It didn’t seem real though until this morning as I was driving to work. It hit me out of nowhere and I cried. I almost never cry. I will really miss her

I get emotional just thinking about my babies moving out, so I can imagine how emotional it must be when it happens for real.
You should go and visit her, make it an adventurous experience for both of you

@Ghostinthemachine i think I will go visit next year but I’ll need drugs from my family doctor to get through the flights. I’m not good at flying

@Jenny1234 Its definitely a long flight, but I found Quantas made that part of the travel as pleasant as possible
