Years ago, a kid in my class judged my artwork because my colored pencil drawings were 'too bright.' In reality, I was coloring deeply and layering the colors so they would pop off the page, and it honestly looked beautiful and better than most of the other work in class. Some people are just naturally critical, and honestly, they're probably still judgmental today
