I know a man who taught math at the lowest-rate school in Oklahoma City for several years. Every day was new frustrations for this man. Every time a student said anything sexual (F-you etc) he had to pull out a notebook and document it, the name of the student, the exact words said, the time etc. Took a lot of time out from teaching. Most of the students were from single-parent families. One student wasn’t handing in homework and wasn’t learning anything. He called the boy’s mother and got cursed out. Said no wonder the students are that way if that’s how the mother talks to a teacher. He said these girls, about 14 years old, would openly talk about how they were planning on getting pregnant as soon as they could move out of the home. Have their own child and get away from their mothers, and let the government pay for everything. He finally quit that school.
