I Am a Father

It would be my child's first birthday some time in the next couple of weeks. Obviously we'll never know for sure when the date would've been but it's strange not to have a day to mark to passage of time.

Maybe we should just choose one arbitrarily. To help us remember.

@SW-User same here. I see people at work who know every anniversary of every awful thing that's happened to them. I don't want to be them.

@CheshireCatalyst We named both of ours so we just talk about them between ourselves. That's enough for me.

@SW-User I made the mistake of saying I didn't want to have a name because I thought it would hurt too much. :(

@SW-User I know, my wife has a name and I asked her recently to tell me it but she won't now because she wants to protect me from it. :/
