A mother’s job is never done

We’re staying at my sister’s where Lucas is asleep in the nursery she made for him. I went down to check on him anyway and my sister told me he’s fine. But she should know more than anyone that I need to see with my own eyes before that deduction is made. A mom’s gotta check on her baby. Am I wrong?

I was such a paranoid mom when my son was a baby. I am like you that I have to go to his bedroom once in a while and check if he is breathing 😅

@Ducky I believe some of the baby monitors these days are basically like ring doorbell cameras and you can see, hear and talk through it.

I don't think you're wrong at all. It's good to periodically check on your baby in person instead of by a monitor.

Hell no! It's so normal for family to "test us" with parenting our kids though. It happens to nearly everyone. No biggie. They usually don't mean anything by it : )
