What can i do to contain my near-puberty boys as a lone mother?

i always think in that matter since divorce , now my boys are near puberty and i need some advices, how can i handle my boys in this difficult duration in their life, my older son started to have more fights with his school mates, how to handle him without being too cruel with him

They are boys they are going to get into a lot of fights just talk to them if you can be patient and try to understand them it won’t be easy though
