Not the best mum

I am a mother of two sons. I do my best and make mistakes. Sometimes I am too soft, at other times too strict. I play bad football, ignore the silly mistakes, don't know their music, get defeated at their computer games, wish I had more money, deny them what they often want if we can't afford it, wish I could find a decent dad for them and cry a lot.

Just let them know you love them that's the most important thing. You can get into their music. Talk to them and learn their stuff. You sound like you're there and you try and you love them and that's a good thing.

@SW-User I find their music appalling! I listen to it without any pleasure. I know their school stuff and talk football with them. They know I am here, I suppose.

@OnlyRhonda You make the effort to talk to them and interact. My parents never did either. Also boys like to bug you. I have a son too. :)
