Not the best mum

I am a mother of two sons. I do my best and make mistakes. Sometimes I am too soft, at other times too strict. I play bad football, ignore the silly mistakes, don't know their music, get defeated at their computer games, wish I had more money, deny them what they often want if we can't afford it, wish I could find a decent dad for them and cry a lot.

All parents feel pretty much the same way I think. I know it was the same for me. We all make mistakes, it isn't like you get a set of directions with the baby, you have to figure it out as you go. In the end, it seems like giving too much seems to make them have less respect for what they have. Most of the time, not being able to afford something is eventually understood. My advice would be to pay attention to them, keep getting beat at their games, and show them that you love them. They will turn out okay.
