Feral twins at large...

At age 4 our biological mother abandoned my sister and I while my father was deployed.

When my father remarried, my sister and I were 7 and suddenly living in a brand-new house with a woman who believed in things like “clean rooms” and “consequences.”

One afternoon she finally snapped and told us...

“If you two don’t clean that room, you can go live in the backyard.”

So naturally, we grabbed my fathers shovel.

A military dad schooled about foxholes.

An hour later she looked outside to discover her new daughters silently digging what appeared to be graves.

That was probably the moment she realized she hadn’t married a man with children....

She’d inherited tiny raccoons with abandonment issues.

I had reversed (no real dad) and I can see where you might have gotten your humor from.

@HumanEarth Ah...I see.

Yeah we were installed basically in Camp Pendleton. ...while my father returned.

Grew up there....till he remarried.
