I Want to Be In a Healthy Loving Relationship

So two weeks ago my GF dumps me. 😭 A week ago I met a woman who helped me get over it....sweet, kind, caring, warm, compassionate, understanding, intelligent, accepting, loving and stunningly gorgeous. 😍 We've really got the potential for a great thing started. 👨‍👩‍👧 Tonight another woman practically begged me to consider her instead, even up to the point of asking me to ask my love interest if she'd be ok with sharing! 😲 Wouldn't hear 'No' no matter how many times I repeated myself. 😏 And all I can think is "Um, what in the unholy hell is going on here?!?" I mean I'm not precisely eye catching, and certainly not a head turner by any means. Sure I have a great personality...well, if you get me anyway, lol...and a good sense of humor. But this is more attention than I usually received even when I was young, trim and good looking! 🤵

so you found a woman on the rebound?

For me, I know I might be more the exception than the rule, it usually takes me 2-3 years to heal and be ready to get into another relationship.

@thinkbigaboutlife: I was only with the ex for 13 months...almost to the day. The fact that she broke up with me on our 1 year anniversary date the first time helped start the healing process, but sorta killed the getting back together a few hours later. When she broke up the second and final time I just accepted it.
@FordPrefect42: ok.
