My daughter gives flowers to our neighbor every year on her Birthday. She's in her 70's and even though she's not related
My daughter has grown up calling her Nana, so has my son. She was always there for them like a Nana, teaching my daughter how to hem her pants for cadets, teaching them how to cook and bake, disciplening them when they were bad, making them clean up after themselves. Loving on them!! She was always there to listen to them when they needed to talk to someone. And when Nana was in the hospital for kidney problems with her one and only kidney, my daughter was one of the only two people who were on her visitors list that was allowed to see her at the hospital every day. So I drove her 45 minutes every day to the town where her hospital was at and waited in the car while my daughter visited her. They truly love each other! Like family, she is closer to my daughter than her real Grandparents. She's a true Nana!! Happy Birthday Nana!
