I never get angry, but it’s definitely uncomfortable. I don’t like to disappoint anyone, especially someone I love.

@Adogslife I guess the hardest part about this is the listening and being empathetic part. Especially when the other party clearly is incapable of that because if you say things she doesn't want to hear she reacts badly and launches into full narcissistic attack mode.

@zonavar68 I’ve never really dated someone I’d consider hostile. Most have been very sweet.

I’ve dated two women that were volatile/crazy, but that was easy to overlook given how fun they were. One, I’m married to now and just had my first anniversary.

@Adogslife I didn't consider her hostile until we started the journey through IVF and egg donation and it became 100 percent all about her from the moment she found out she was finally pregnant and I was no longer considered necessary. There were NO pleasant conversations from that point onwards and when I left her a year after the birth it didn't stop. Still continues to this day but the court orders she has no choice but to comply with kind of curtail her rants somewhat. I pity any man she gets with in the future. She's 50 next year.
