Are you close to your father (if he’s still with us)?

My father saw the information I sent to him in a text (which I mentioned here) about being pregnant and shooting at a competency test, and he has shown his officials the test I recently had at the police range, and they have suggested to wait until I have birthed to schedule a further test.

I lost my dad to dementia almost 18 months ago but we were very close. He taught me to fish, got me into football and took me to matches when I was a kid, taught me to ride a bike, bought me my first legal pint..., the usual things that dad's do for their sons.
He left when i was 11 and went to live somewhere else but we remained close, I visited regularly during school holidays and we always had a great time, he visited us here too and it was always a time of excitement when he was due to arrive.
We never got what my dad intended to leave us in his will, the will that we were given was a fraudulent copy but we couldn't afford to contest it, they wanted money that we simply did not have so the law is clearly on the fraudster's side.
I have something more valuable than his money, I have my memories of him and they'll never be spent.
