My fathers day 2025
For those who are fathers and involved in your families I am proud of you
for myself not only did i lose my biological father back in 2001, but
last year a few days before fathers day I lost my stepfather. My step father was in a memory care facility when he died due to the mental anguish of dementia.
My mom constantly reminded him of who she is, that he has three daughters and a son.
My stepfather Sam, was old enough to be my grandfather when he married my mother but my mom wanted companionship, and financial stability, Sam on the other hand wanted a trophy wife and my mom fit that bill. they were married in 2013
before that, mom had boyfriends but non that she wanted a long term meaningful relationship with at the time.
Sam's death was indeed bittersweet, he gave my mom several years of happy companionship.
I'll will miss him and remember him like my Biological father Paul.
