Family dinner

Nothing triggers my anxiety worse then getting a text from my father saying

We are having our Thanksgiving dinner this Saturday at 1:30pm. Do not be late. Do not arrive early. You and the children are to dress nice in fall colors. There will be no talk of the children's mother or your so called separation. You will also control yourself. You are to leave the house and wait outside if you think your going to have issues. Your mother wants a nice family dinner and you will not ruin it trying to get extra attention by yelling.

I can't wait this is going to be great.

Yeah fuck all that nonsense. My children would absolutely show up wearing pastels and would be dropped off for a half hour grandparent visit. I wouldn't stay.

@Starcrossed im not going to stay I'll bring a cigar and smoke in my car. There is no way i won't have tics or outburst while im there.

@Cigarguy101 tics are who you are. They should know that. You might be serving your children better not having them around grandparents who won't accept you and them as they are.

@Starcrossed they don't believe that i can't control my tics. Their very old fashioned doctor told them i should of out grown this by now and I'm just doing it for attention. So im not allowed in there house if i have them.

@Starcrossed i will have the kids on Thanksgiving. We plan on having a small dinner and have the whole day planned. Their mom will be out of town. The kids are looking forward to seeing their grandparents that day. No matter what I do ill be the bad guy
