Family dinner

Nothing triggers my anxiety worse then getting a text from my father saying

Son
We are having our Thanksgiving dinner this Saturday at 1:30pm. Do not be late. Do not arrive early. You and the children are to dress nice in fall colors. There will be no talk of the children's mother or your so called separation. You will also control yourself. You are to leave the house and wait outside if you think your going to have issues. Your mother wants a nice family dinner and you will not ruin it trying to get extra attention by yelling.

I can't wait this is going to be great.

@SW-User as cold as my parents are to me they are a complete 180 with my kids. They are fun, loving and great with them. So ill take them and wait outside so i don't cause any problems for my parents
@Cigarguy101 Sounds about right, sadly. I can relate.

@SW-User Tell the "old man" there is a famous question he's about to be asked..... "does he want fries with that"? Damn...
