My grandparents made me feel bad for not contacting my cousins (the one that don’t bully me).
They noticed that I always stay home and just don’t do anything. I don’t go out or contact people, go out for adventures and I’m young. I work part-time, I come home and do my online classes. My grandparents are worried that I’m always staying in on weekends, and not hanging out with people. I don’t like being around a lot of people.
My grandpa said, “Do you EVER call your cousins? The ones that don’t bully you. When was the last time you talked to them? And don’t lie. Tell the truth.”
I paused for a while. I hate when they asked that question. I said, “Uh-uh er a while ago. Two months ago.”
Then he said, “You GOTTA keep contact with your cousins. Call them, text them. See how they’re doing because you hardly do that. Some of them tried to get in contact but you don’t answer. You need to keep in contact with people. Your cousins are in California right now.”
I didn’t even know they were in Cali! Nobody told us. Then grandma said, “That could have been YOU and you would have been there. Plus you’re in Spring Break! Life isn’t always about work and school you know. You’re 20. This is the time that YOU should be exploring the world, experiencing new things. Do something other that sit in the house everyday weekend. I understand you have homework but take time for your loved ones. You don’t know when you’re going to see them again. You need to answer them and stop ignoring their phone calls. That’s very rude.”
Man they do a great job making me feel so bad. Most of my family pick on me for being autistic but not everyone does.
