My dad ended up taking my husband to the hospital yesterday and he’s coming home soon

Thankfully he didn’t do any lasting damage to himself and he’s going to get the help he needs.

His drug tests were negative for everything else.

I’m still pretty upset with him for choosing to handle his issues like this rather than just leaning into his support system.

We’ll get past it I’m sure. But not today.

Glad he survived and hope he does get help. Middle aged men are actually at greatest risk for this stuff.

@ViciDraco He has no choice but to get help if he wants to stay here. I understand he is hurting but he doesn’t get to traumatize the kids like this. I will make other arrangements if need be.

I love him but I don’t play about the kids. They’ve lost and are losing too much already.
