I Am Divorced

Was married to an abusive asshole. Getting divorced was one of the best things I have ever done. I found me and got my life back.

When I got divorced it was the most costly thing I have ever done in my life but it was worth, every.god.damn.penny.of.it.

Have you got to the 'never again' point yet? I was married twice, thought the first one was just a 'gold digger' but in fairness to her, she had never had anything in her life, had an abusive childhood and a lot of other traumas, so when she instigated a divorce and a solicitor says to her, 'you know you could get money out of this too...' the temptation would've been too much. The second one however different kettle of fish.

Yeah I'm there. I don't think I ever want to be married again. It was not my cup of tea. Was so much hassle getting divorced in this state too
