How much does it cost to get divorced if only one person wants the divorce?

This is not about me, this is about a family member. I was wondering if someone could give me an estimate before looking it up haha

It depends on the law in your jurisdiction.
Mine cost less than $500.00 because no lawyers were involved.

@chrisCA oh that sounds like a reasonable price but their might be lawyers involved because of domestic abuse
