How much does it cost to get divorced if only one person wants the divorce?

This is not about me, this is about a family member. I was wondering if someone could give me an estimate before looking it up haha

That really depends on where you live and if the other person is going to contest it. Most lawyers around here require a $5,000 retainer to handle divorces but it could be more could be less depending on the case
