For divorced people:

Before you divorced or during the time you were thinking about it, did you send off warning signals to any in laws? Tell them you were unhappy, complain, or somehow or drop hints? Maybe to prepare them or like a last cry for help maybe?

I think my sister in law is thinking about leaving my brother. Maybe.

Im not married, but im the type to keep stuff like that secret, you never know whose counting on your downfall and will give you horrid " advice " just because they secretly dont like you lol good rule of thumb keep other people out of your relationships

Since they were “clannish” I knew better to peep out a hint. They found out when he told them. I tried to tell my mother-in-law years before and she was not supportive of what I told her. She would rather believe her firstborn son. She did wake up a bit after I told her a couple years later about him asking for a turkey dinner and I reminded him about it before he left for work and then he didn’t come home to eat it that evening. She was really pissed about that. I think she knew where the marriage was headed.
I didn't. I knew that if i talked to anyone it would be spread around and honestly, his family love to gossip. I felt it was something that should remain between us

Nope, tried to keep it private, until her cousin found out and confronted me.

Depends from societies ..some still don't take divorces rather we'll..here in India where marriages have consent of families ..families too play a role in case of divorces primarily first try being to patch things up since the worst hit would be kids if any

well what if the family hates the spouse. what if there are no kids? @romell

It all depends. These day, these things are aired out on Facebook, so everyone gets a play by play in real time.
I'd for damn sure never tip any of my in-laws to anything like that.
