If your parents divorced when you were young what impact did the event have on your life choices later on ?
For me, it made me 100 percent against marriage and I've never changed that view. I also find it incredibly difficult to try another person which probably explains why I can't form friendships, date women, or have relationships that are meaningful.
My parents are both passed away now, but when they were alive I couldn't talk to them about it, and they never attempted to talk to me about it.
I guess some children with parents that get divorced have a really positive inclusive bond with their parents and everything is somewhat amicable, but by it's very nature divorce into a pleasant, happy or positive experience.
