Y’all need to discipline your kids 🥲

Went to the park today, a girl that was 5 or 6 was standing on the top of the slide and wouldn’t let other kids on it. The girls’ parents were like, “get down, you aren’t supposed to stand up there. Let other kids go down it.” And the little girl, with the most attitude said “nope!” … then 10 minutes later she was standing on the picnic table, and jumping from one table to the next and the parents tried getting her to quit it and put on her shoes because they were leaving and again, she said “nope, don’t tell me what to do” 😅😅😅😅

Guess Im more traditional, had I kids God forbid, and they acted up I pull them aside and give them one warning to straighten up. If they acted up they get a swat on the behind, just enough to scare them and sting a little bit. Of course swatting isn't the only way to punish a child. Each kid is different, you gotta do something they truly hate, thats enough of an incentive to prevent them from doing it again. Sometimes just a verbal threat from my mom was enough to get me to act right. Like putting soap in my mouth, god that was nasty and hated it more than spankings.

@JestAJester You are exactly right. Every kid is different and responds differently. Mom usually knows which button to push when she needs to apply a little discipline.

@RachelC i remember once she did it to me when i was 8 and it made me sick. So she never did it again. Usually took my games away or made me do chores
