Y’all need to discipline your kids 🥲

Went to the park today, a girl that was 5 or 6 was standing on the top of the slide and wouldn’t let other kids on it. The girls’ parents were like, “get down, you aren’t supposed to stand up there. Let other kids go down it.” And the little girl, with the most attitude said “nope!” … then 10 minutes later she was standing on the picnic table, and jumping from one table to the next and the parents tried getting her to quit it and put on her shoes because they were leaving and again, she said “nope, don’t tell me what to do” 😅😅😅😅

Too many " Nope" and " Don't tell me what to do" were shrugged off and allowed until the kid grew horns and figured out she's the one who calls the shots. Unfortunately, we've often seen that bullies and criminals have that same pattern of behavior at a young age. Imagine how many crimes and broken lives can be avoided by good parenting and seeking professional help for mentally/emotionally unstable children.

@SW-User what would you have done?

@SDChris71 I would teach my child as soon as she can comprehend words that certain bad behaviors will not be tolerated for there will be disciplinary consequences. You teach your child from a very early age the concept of empathy and companionship. Bratty behavior is not natural but created.

@SW-User An excellent example of discipline without brutality towards the child (or indulging the "pervs" on the site). 👍🏽
