Dreading next week!!

Next week it’s just me outnumbered by 3 kids when my husband’s back to work properly and with 7yo out of school.

Bad news for me because 7yo realised I am tired with the baby and not as strict as I usually am. She thinks she can do whatever she wants with me because every time she acts up with me my husband has stepped in. She has been really acting up and I have no energy for dealing with it.

I’m going to have to spend the weekend trying to make her listen to me again. Otherwise I will spend the week calling my husband all the time.

Thank god he only works 9-1.

I hope things went okay. I had some suggestions for you but it's been over a month so I assume you no longer need them

Good luck.

I am in a restaurant and a little girl in the next table was protesting the situation and her mom had to take her outside. They came back and the girl has been behaving since!

@JoyfulSilence squirming?

@Strictmichael75

She did not want to sit down and started wailing.
I hope it goes smoothly for you! I have a friend who has been having the same problem. Her girl is an Angel when dad’s around and then won’t listen to a THING when he’s gone. Be firm! I know it’s hard, and soooo exhausting…but it’s easier to get the boundaries drawn now than the be fighting them into their teens 😬

Hopefully they’ll be sweet and willing to help with baby lol. 🤞🏻

Your husband should show you how to be strict and follow his rules.. After he has shown you one time.. He should be strict with you. Turn you over his knee when you are not trying hard enough. Give you some sweet encouragement in the form of a hardwood brush. He should give you kisses that sting your bottom. Mmm you just need more love.

Actions have consequences, if you do this, then this will happen. Be in charge, you're the parent. You are raising the next generation of leaders. A serious responsibility

{@seanna] 😞sorry that is the case rather going to be a test for your sanity and patience

@smiler2012 Yep. My 7yo thinks I haven’t got enough to deal with I guess lol

Not easy being a parent in the 21st century that’s for sure 🤷🏻‍♂️

@IamBack Usually I am totally fine with them by myself but a new baby throws everything off!!

@seana I can imagine, good luck with that!
