Star is healing well
Her lungs are not quite healing as fast as the doctor would help but they are not worried about, it her incision and her liver is doing quite well since the surgery. So they're going to continue to keep her on oxygen at night to help with the healing process but not during the day. This poor girl has been through so much I am so proud of her.
She did have some anxiety as well drove to the hospital. And sadly her anxiety was a lot worse as we drove home. So we got her back in the house got her comfy in bed and gave her an anxiety med and I'm going to wake her up in about an hour to give her super nachos and see if she wants to watch some silly movies for the evening.
This report was probably as good as we could have hoped for according to the doctor considering everything she's been through. Are going to have to get her knee reevaluated and it is looking like she may have to have another surgery on her foot. But right now we're just concentrating on her resting and healing and we'll figure that stuff out at the end of the month.
