Update on Star Monday

So she had a small set back today. She has a low fever. So they are limited her visitors to just her father until the fever breaks. They also rescheduled our family meeting because of this. It will probably have it later in the week or on Saturday.

Other than that my buddy says she is doing good she's still eating the soup and keeping it down and her stats are good. The fever is probably just the joys of life without a spleen that we're all going to have to learn about.

I’m sorry to hear about the setback, but I’m really glad to hear everything else is holding steady and that she’s keeping food down and her stats are good. A low fever can be scary, but it sounds like she’s being watched closely and in good hands.

What really stands out though is the love wrapped around her. The Switch, the Legos, the book—those are such pure, thoughtful gestures. Kids have a way of showing up with their whole hearts, and it says so much about the family you’re raising.

Please let her know she’s still very much in our thoughts. Hoping the fever breaks quickly so the meeting can happen and things keep moving forward. One day at a time—she’s not facing any of this alone. 💛

@MyMonstersAreReal my buddy texted me saying her fever hasn't broken yet but hasn't gotten any higher either so that's good. I guess we're going to have to figure out what life is like without her spleen.

Star was so happy the kids sent her stuff for the day. It really cheered her up
