Update on Star Sunday

This really does sound like one of those quiet, meaningful good days — the kind that doesn’t fix everything but still gives you a little room to breathe.

I’m glad your buddy made it home, even if his night ended early — honestly, there’s something comforting about just being there, even when exhaustion takes over. You did the right thing letting him rest.

I’m so happy to hear Star’s stats are great ❤ Even on tired days, those small wins matter — good numbers, enjoying the broth and tea, being together. It all counts, even when her body needs a break.

Ending the day with the boys, chili cheese hot dogs, fries, and Legos feels like exactly what the heart needs after everything you’ve been carrying. Simple, normal moments can be so grounding.

Physical therapy can be exhausting and painful. But unlike many exhausting and painful things, it’s worth it.

It can make the difference between independence and dependence.

But it still hurts and exhausts you.
