Swear box overflowing . .

We operate a swear box system in our household. £1 for each infraction, all contents at the end of the month goes to the local homeless shelter. Our daughter who, like the Queen, never carries cash, pays any dues out of her £10 weekly allowance.

This week must have been particularly lively as I came home on Thursday to hear my wife advising DD that she only had £2 of credit left 🥺

"Oh b*****s!" came the instant reply.

Now down to £1 . .

Daughter sighed and sadly concluded that she may as well forfeit that too as £1 by itself is of little use to man nor beast. Next minute she is cheerfully chatting about how she is going to be much better behaved next week and keep her whole £10 🙂
