I think school is over for the week . .

I came in from the garden and nearly broke my neck tripping over a heap of discarded shoes . . at least 9 pairs I estimate 🤦‍♀️

Yet there is barely a murmur from behind the closed door of my daughter's bedroom. Of course I'm happy that she has so many friends, but hope she's not started a cult in our home 🥴

Be grateful she has friends and even more so that she is so comfortable to bring them to your home.

I very occasionally miss when there were two bedrooms with various other people's kids in them.

@OldBrit I love how easily she seems to make friends. Much more easily than I could then and now.

We have a spare living room where she can take her friends. She's usually very selective about who goes in her bedroom 🙂

@SunshineGirl Yep I have always struggled to make close friends - like you I marvel at how my kids seemed to find it easy. It pays off, mine are adults now and I know they have good friends who look out for them
