Seeing my sister and her oldest becoming more like siblings is beautiful to see 🥹

She has two daughters and her oldest is ten years old, and I already see them both acting more like sisters rather than mother and daughter. My sister does act like a mom when she needs to, when her daughters step out of line, but it doesn’t seem like that happens often. Sis is a great mom and raises her two girls to be just as great. My sister and I have always, always been extremely close with each other growing up. Not much has changed between our sisterly closeness, but I feel she misses that sense of close sisterhood when I’m not around. It seems like she’s able to have that again with her oldest now and that makes me real happy. Not that her younger daughter is pushed to the wayside, of course. I still see my sister being super affectionate with her too. I imagine when she’s old enough, my sister will end up having two daughters as her additional sisters. In which case, you’ll probably see me here posting about it, if I’m still around by then.
