Some Attitudes Undermine this Especial Relationship. [I Want to Say How Important Dads Are to Daughters]
Dad is the first and possibly most important male role model in the life of a daughter, to give her the values and identity of her ideal man - one who cares for her from the first moment no questions asked! However, there are some attitudes today that seriously undermine this most especial relationship.
To lots of women there are serious misgivings put into their minds, almost conditioning autosuggestion by their learning about the tragedies of other women whose paternal relationship is far from normal, far from satisfying because of many factors including parental conflict and divorce, and the resulting feminist backlash.
My own parental differences has been this kind of anticlimax for me for those very reasons, dynamics, but I know it was much much better than the immediacy allows me to remember. I want to work at regaining what I have lost in so many ways in my immediate future.
