Oatmeal, still a thing?

Weird question, my mom and I were discussing this, I have no idea why. Do kids still eat oatmeal? You know, the Quaker instant oatmeal in many different flavors? Or maybe good old-fashioned oatmeal?
If they do, is it regional? In other countries other than US?
I have a collection of microwavable bowls that my grandmother got by saving Quaker oatmeal labels or something. We use them almost daily for heating food in the microwave. They are color-changing with hot or cold food.
Just curious, as my son is grown and flown and never liked oatmeal anyway.

I don't know about kids but i love oatmeal, either as porridge or flapjacks. I make instant oatmeal for a fraction of the price of those sachets or pots by blasting plain oatmeal in a blender for a couple of seconds then adding hot milk and honey in an insulated mug, a quick and easy breakfast.
