What's one thing your parents did that you would never do to your children?

Everything, both were narcissists.

Giving me back my unfinished plate at every meal after it was originally served. This went on for 2 days, liver and onions.

@dragonfly46 I wonder, something narcissistic parents do? For me, it was cabbage stew.

@StarLily I'm not sure, I'm a gen X. So, I think it was a Boomer thing. Their parents lived in the depression, so maybe it was done to them.
The narcissism was pronounced in other ways. No empathy, grandiose behavior, and constant need for admiration.
