@Cigarguy101 So incredibly sad and just as an outsider, I find her abandoning them shocking and mind boggling. 😔

@OlderSometimesWiser I don't think she ever wanted to be a mother and having a special needs child like my daughter was to much for her. Honestly I'm surprised but graceful that she kept our son. After she had him it got worse. She never bonded with him at all. I did everything for him. She was just there.
@Cigarguy101 Sounds like she has some serious mental issues. Thank God those wonderful children have you. I take it she hasn’t been in contact. Do her parents check in on the children at all?

@OlderSometimesWiser it's been 2 years since we've heard from her and over a year since her mother sent our daughter a birthday card. I don't even know where she is. Last I knew she was in Florida
@Cigarguy101 Please forgive me if I’ve gotten too personal. I just really feel for you and the children. I can only imagine how challenging things are and hope that when self doubt creeps in, you’ll always come back to realizing that you’re a loving, caring father doing your very best.
