As long as he agrees with all the same things I agree with I think we'd get along great!!! I hate religion too.
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse People who hate here on SW usually take it out on religion, cursing at a God they don’t believe in. So convenient.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites What do you mean by convenient?
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse They can hate other people like those who commit social injustices. You see the wrongdoings and expect that the day of reckoning comes. Not for those who say they hate religion (name one of the millions), then they curse and disrespect people who have faith. All they do is just get the rise out of people, so stupid.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites Oh sure it's not nice to do something to get a rise out of people. Are you seeing the nonbelievers are expecting a day of reckoning to come?
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse Boils down to what goes around comes around. We all go back to dust, but while we are alive, we suffer the consequences of our wrong actions, reap the benefits of virtues.
Are you here to start a discussion, by any chance? Not interested.

Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites Not really, most of the worst people in history, emperors and ruthless dictators of the like have died in bed. Discussion? Nah I was just curious. You seem a bit worked up about it all.
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse Not worked up, fed up with the immaturity. Happens to be an observation I have among self-proclaimed ‘philosophers’ on this site. Are you different from those who read posts from people talking about how inspired they were with their faith and then jump in and rudely say something shitty and anti-Christian?
So curious, what made YOU leave that comment about agreeing on hating religion anyway?

@ScorpioBites
Nope, I normally just ignore them, unless they're really, really obnoxious or they go on about how god helped them find their keys that morning and I bring up something like children dying of cholera, and then ask them what make them so special that god helped them find their keys, while not saving some poor child in northern India from cholera.
Because it was part of your comment, and I was giving my own personal opinion. Meeting and banging some guy who has strong opinions and hates religion sounds great!! Afterwards we can snuggle and have a nice grumble.

@Allelse So you are that kind of ass. When people say something positive that happens to them, why do you need to piss on them?
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites How is that being an ass? My daughter died of cancer of the lymph nodes and your god or any gods didn't stop that, but don't worry, god helped Jenny find her keys. Or those countries that are already on subsistence living and they get half wiped out by a flood, and what comes with flood? Starvation and cholera and does god do anything? Nope. But Jenny had a good old pray and found her keys. And the thing about the keys is what some bonehead on here said one time. She was going on about how she had a pray and god helped her found her keys, and that's just stupid.
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse You better sort your issues out. You are majorly bitter about your loss (and I’m sorry that that’s what happened) and you have to take it out on people who probably didn’t even do anything to you. They are grateful about something, they can go on. As a non-believer, you stay out of believers’ business with sharing their faith.
Get sorted. Be better, not bitter.

Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites I was already a non believer before she died, I'm just using her as one of a many examples. She went so quickly. The house became so quiet and there was one room I never did get used to going back into again. But my point still stands, I mean look at the holocaust, all those people killed. And Genghis Khan and all the people he killed. But don't worry!!! Little Jenny had a pray and god helped her find her keys.
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse So if you give little Jenny a hard time, that takes away the pain you have? It won’t.
And it’s very immature of you, to just do that to people who pray. Convenient, like I said. But really useless.
I know something about grief myself. Not an easy path to tread. I hope some day, you would come to terms.

Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites I didn't give her or anybody a hard time. I just asked her how she could possibly think that a great benevolent being, which flooded the whole planet once because he didn't like how his creation turned out, little babies and all, would, if he existed, care more about her keys than all of the children dying of cholera. Which is also part of his plan, which is sick!!!! I'm an evil, horrible heathen human born with sin and even I know it's wrong to give children cholera. Or let them die of cholera if I had the power to stop them dying of cholera. Or when humans go mad and break out the machetes like they did in Rwanda, I don't know what it is about genocide and machetes.
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse Why are you so upset with someone you don’t believe in, though? How do you make someone unseen accountable? There are natural disasters and social injustices. Things we can and cannot control. And maybe you should realize that as mere mortals, we really don’t ‘deserve’ anything at all since we bring nothing into this world and we don’t take anything with us when we die.
While what you are feeling is real, you are questioning somebody who isn’t even real to you, and you are frustrated and angry you want to take it out on people. That’s what it this ‘I hate religion’ is all about. Take religion out of it and account for your own actions.

@ScorpioBites Because humans are dumb, dangerous neurotic animals and when they get stupid ideas in their heads they go batty and start hacking each other up into little pieces or shooting each other. It's dangerous when humans ignore fact based evidence and live in a fantasy world instead. It's important for ours species to stay in reality, it's important we don't use faith as a fundamental basis of how we approach life and make our decisions. We can't answer everything we don't know with 'god did it', not when the real answers are out there. It would be alright if humans weren't psychotic, genocidal maniacs, but we are!!!! Human rights, fact based evidence is how we should make our decisions, not by basing our decisions on the whim from the of some homicidal, invisible boogeymen who lives in the sky who might punish or reward us depending on his mood or whether we follow his ancient, bronze age laws or not.
We don't trial people by ordeal to see whether the gods are on the defendant's side or not, we trial them by the available evidence, so why the hell are people still clinging to this ancient old practise? It's nonsense and if people aren't told it's nonsense they wont learn and they wont improve and humanity needs to keep getting better, so that it wont simply slide back into the kind of ignorant mind frame we had during the middle ages. An example of such behaviour is this guy in Africa who recently cut his balls off because some witch doctor told him it would bring him great rewards, and while not as horrific, it's no different than little Jenny believing god helped her find her keys.
If somebody is eating dirt you tell them not too because they can get sick, and that same logic applies to somebody who thinks a divine being helped them find their keys, favouring her while ignoring little children who are dying of cholera, or are being rape and tortured by their own family members.

@Allelse Agree with what you stated about human. But you really have no inherent right to dictate on what people need to believe. Her prayer didn’t harm anyone. It’s ridiculous and bordering delusional that you her action and all the others who do what she does caused you your tragedy.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites You gotta tell people when they're being dumb or else they'll never learn. Especially when they think their life is more important than children dying of cholera.
ScorpioBites · 46-50, F
@Allelse Okay, I’ll let you marinate in your bitterness. Good day.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@ScorpioBites It's such a shame that you don't care about small children dying of cholera, it really is. I'd hoped you would have more compassion.
