Children calling their parents by their first name is weird. The younger the children are the weirder it seems.
If either of my kids ever call me Donna I’d pack them off to a sweat shop making Apple products.

I always called my parents "Mum" and "Dad" but in my late teens I stopped calling my uncles and aunts "Uncle so-and-so" and "Auntie so-and-so". One of my cousins used to call her parents by their first names but she worked in the family business with them so I suppose it was more understandable.
