Children calling their parents by their first name is weird. The younger the children are the weirder it seems.
If either of my kids ever call me Donna I’d pack them off to a sweat shop making Apple products.

In my house it was yes mother and sir for dad. To call them anything other would be seen as disrespectful and would earn us the belt
