Children calling their parents by their first name is weird. The younger the children are the weirder it seems.
If either of my kids ever call me Donna I’d pack them off to a sweat shop making Apple products.

My daughter waited until she was out on her own to start calling me by my first name. It amuses her. It struck me as weird at first but now I'm used to it. Picking my battles. Actually I have few disagreements with her these days.
